Imports in January 2022 reached USD 1.24 billion, up 10.30 percent compared to December 2021

Abstract

Import value of Jawa Barat in January 2022 reached USD 1.24 billion, an increase of 10.30 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, if compared to January 2021, it rose 34.71 percent.
Non-oil and gas imports in January 2022 reached USD 1.14 billion, an increase of 9.60 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, when compared to January 2021, it rose 36.27 percent.
Oil and gas imports in January 2022 reached USD 102.46 million, an increase of 18.87 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, when compared to January 2021, it increased by 19.51 percent.
The largest increase in the value of non-oil and gas imports from January 2022 to December 2021 occurred in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment category (USD 36.20 million), followed by Machinery and Mechanical Equipment (USD 22.18 million), and the Cotton category (USD 12.96 million).
