Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Hotels in Jawa Barat in November 2020 reached 41.31 percent, an increase of 4.29 points compared to the ROR for October 2020 which reached 37.02 percent. ROR for both star and non-star hotels has increased.
ROR for star hotels in November 2020 was 48.89 percent, up 5.32 points compared to the ROR for October 2020 which reached 43.57 percent. The highest ROR according to star hotel class was recorded at 5-star hotels at 74.16 percent, while the lowest ROR was for 1-star hotels at 26.30 percent.
The ROR for non-star hotels in November 2020 was 20.95 percent, up 0.56 points compared to October 2020 which was recorded at 20.39 percent. The highest ROR for non-star hotels occurred in hotels with a room group of 25-40 by 23.25 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest ROR for non-star hotels by 10.04 percent occurred in hotels with room groups <10.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in November 2020 was recorded at 1.44 days and at non-star hotels for 1.19 days. Foreign guests stay at star hotels for an average of 2.41 days and at non-star hotels for 1.90 days, while Indonesian guests stay an average of 1.43 days at star hotels and 1.19 days at non-star hotels. .
There were 95 tourists who came to Jawa Barat in November 2020, or down 27.48 percent from the previous month, which totaled 131 people. As many as 1 foreign tourist came through Husein Satranegara Airport, down 93.33 percent from October which recorded 15 people. The remaining 94 people were ship crews who came through Muara Jati Port, the number decreased by 18.97 percent compared to October 2020. In 2020 the cumulative number of foreign tourists to Jawa Barat was recorded at 31,503 people, down 78.10 percent compared to 2019 in the same period.
