The declaration of Love Village Statistics 2024

Thursday (22/8), the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kabupaten bandung Barat held a socialization and declaration of Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) 2024 in Margajaya Village, Ngamprah District. The Desa Cantik program is a strategic step to increase statistical literacy and awareness as well as the active role of village officials and the community in organizing statistical activities and optimizing the use of statistical data. Through this program, we are committed to ensuring that the data produced is not only accurate, but also relevant and reliable as the basis for better decision-making at the village level.

The highlight of the event was marked by remarks from the Acting Regional Secretary of West Bandung Regency Eriska Hendrayana. He officially launched Margajaya Village, Ngamprah Sub-district, as a Beautiful Village in 2024 of Bandung Barat Regency.

In his speech, Eriska said that villages that are able to manage data well will have an advantage in designing targeted and sustainable development programs.

“The Desa Cantik program is very important because data is the foundation of all the policies we take. With good data management at the village level, we can ensure that the development programs we implement really suit the needs of the community. Margajaya Village is expected to be a good example in this regard,” said the pj Sekda.
